Thesis of Instrumentality

.
in this revolving door of the international stage  as
                                  everywhere is a stage
                                                                          nonetheless
you expose vulnerability
to exploit the hierarchy of a particular kind of visuality
‘over medium, soft boiled, I’m afraid’
                                                     they said
how would you render
                       an angel’s crest?

in trajectories unbeknownst to all
we became reacquainted
            with theses of human instrumentality

when n̸̩͎̥̎͐͗͆̿̋͛͒̀͛̕̚ǫ̴̢̝͍̫͉̯̬͈̺̼́̏͂̑̕ ̷̭͍̫͙̙̰̘̀͘ń̶̬̼̫̲̠̝͕̖̰̊̾́̈́̊̈́̀̉̓͜9̴͉͖̪̗̯͇̯̲̹̎̏5̵̘̺͖̖̱͎̄͌ ̶̨̟̒̃̏̋̏͌͂͆̋̐̄͝i̵̛͔̥͋̓̾͌͋́̔̓̏͐̍n̶͓̓̀́̀͘̕ ̵͎͇͖̘͙̫̣̄̀̍̑̍͐͘͝ͅs̶̙̹̳̈́͊̓̈́͂̀̕͘ͅȉ̶̼̖͚̤̯̺͖̔͂͋̀͒̈̌̎̇͌̏̆̚͝g̵͚̗̥̰̥̖͒̅́ͅh̴̥̽t̵̢̻̗̹̖̜͍̺͔̻̪͖̝̄̓̾͐̌̏ͅt Ξ premeditated vulnerability is the only weapon you wield

when relinquished power is the only position you’ve held
in resuscitation of will
we endorse the inception, in great splendour
of bodies
                of
                genocidal organs

A work celebrating / reflecting on the potentiality of un/conditional love in our nature that transcends boundaries, whether hierarchical, institutional, ideological, etc., in a time of crisis. Set upon a hybrid of disparate futuristic metropolitan landscapes, it considers what makes us distinctively human when time and space are rippled, disjunct and ruptured by a future that has been abruptly interpolated into our present. Using imagery from the tropes of sci-fi imaginaries and others controversial and heavily coded with religious and cultural signifiers, it addresses with a sense of urgency the power of mutability and metamorphosis in the yearning for survival, symbols of institutional power, human agency, precarity, and salvation in the face of calamity
